About me
My love of gardening began with my first raised bed in 2018. Full of vegetables, fruit, and berries, it was my first taste of cultivating something from seed and I couldn’t get enough. Fast forward 4 years, and I now have nine raised beds and three perennial beds. The majority of these garden beds are home to my cut flower collection…with the exception of a cherry tomato bed which is planted every year to keep my youngest daughter fed and happy as she runs around snacking in the summer sun.
In addition to gardening, my hobbies include homeschooling my three wonderful kids, listening to audiobooks and podcasts on daily walks, collecting beautiful gardening and cultural books, and researching everything garden related.
About my flowers
The majority of my flowers are grown from seed by either winter sowing or indoor seed starting, tubers, corms, or bulbs. Some flowers are cut from plants that I purchased and have cared for in my garden. I try to support local nurseries and small businesses as much as possible.
I make an effort to use as few chemicals as possible in my garden. My goal is to provide a beautiful and healthy supply of nectar and pollen for the pollinators who visit, while also maintaining a healthy supply of flowers for my customers.
